Nights in Lima are best enjoyed with a drink, and San Isidro stands out as a key district to explore exclusive bars and cocktail lounges. From intimate spaces with signature creations to terraces with dreamlike views, every setting has a story to tell.
Among the must-visit spots are venues celebrated for their Peruvian classics like the pisco sour, as well as international presentations that surprise with their creativity. Many of these places also offer pairings with select ingredients, creating a complete sensory experience.
Including this activity in your guests’ itineraries not only complements their visit to Lima but also gives them the chance to experience the capital as a destination with a magical nightlife. Below, we present a selection of places recommended by El Trinche, where your passengers can enjoy world-class mixology once the sun goes down.
Alphonse
Founded in 2019, Alphonse emerged as Lima’s first speakeasy located within a hotel. Guests are greeted by the façade of a fictional vinyl record shop that, upon giving the password provided with their reservation, leads them into a hidden, modern, and sophisticated space. On Tuesdays, live bands and singers fill the room with music that harmonizes perfectly with the elegant armchairs and tables throughout the venue. Inspired by the Prohibition era, Alphonse is undoubtedly a place for travelers who appreciate a well-crafted drink.
Location: The Westin Lima. Av. Las Begonias 450, San Isidro.
"People are usually very happy with the experiences we offer. We didn’t want to be just a classic speakeasy bar — we also wanted to tell a story and invite people to become part of it.".
- Andy Valderrama, Head Bartender at The Westin Hotel Lima & Convention Center. Interview for Hotevia.

Bar Inglés
Founded in 1927, during the presidency of Augusto B. Leguía, the Bar Inglés at the Country Club Lima Hotel is a historic landmark for the district’s residents. Steeped in tradition, this venue has welcomed renowned musicians, poets, and writers such as Alfredo Bryce Echenique, who found inspiration and motivation seated in its dark leather armchairs. With its classic English style, wood-paneled walls, and soft lighting, the bar invites guests to enjoy close, intimate, and relaxed conversations. Moreover, the Peruvian Pisco Academy recognized Bar Inglés as an “Emblematic Bar of Pisco Culture,” making its pisco sour a must-try icon of local mixology.
Location: Country Club Lima Hotel. Los Eucaliptos 590, San Isidro.

Amador
A rooftop designed for those passionate about gastronomy and nightlife, Amador sits atop a repurposed building and stands out as a haven for true cocktail connoisseurs. From its terrace, visitors can take in sweeping panoramic views of San Isidro that embrace the city lights after dark. Luis Alza, head bartender of the main bar, curates a menu of signature cocktails ranging from light, refreshing blends to more complex creations, always prioritizing exceptional flavor and authentic presentation. Quickly becoming one of Lima’s most talked-about spots, Amador is a top recommendation for creating unforgettable memories in the capital, recently crowned Best Restobar-Lounge at the Summum Awards 2025.
Location: Av. Camino Real 315, San Isidro.
"At Amador, we believe that Peruvian mixology and gastronomy can compete with the best in the world when there is passion, precision, and creativity behind every detail".
